Waiver Policy

KLAUSULA: Jurnal Hukum Tata Negara, Hukum Administrasi, Pidana dan Perdata

KLAUSULA may provide a full or partial waiver of the Article Processing Charge (APC) in justified circumstances. Waiver requests are considered separately from the editorial and peer-review process and do not influence manuscript evaluation, reviewer recommendations, or editorial decisions.

Full Waiver

A full waiver may be granted in exceptional circumstances when the journal management determines that the author has a reasonable basis for exemption from the standard publication fee.

Partial Waiver

A partial waiver or fee reduction may be granted where full exemption is not applicable but special circumstances justify a reduced APC.

Waiver Request Procedure

  1. The corresponding author submits a written waiver request to the journal management.
  2. The request should briefly explain the reason for seeking a full or partial waiver.
  3. The request is reviewed administratively and separately from the peer-review process.
  4. The journal management determines whether the waiver is approved, partially approved, or declined.
  5. The approved publication fee, if any, is communicated to the corresponding author after the manuscript has been accepted.

Important Conditions

  • A waiver is not automatic and is subject to approval by the journal management.
  • A waiver request does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.
  • Reviewers are not informed of an author's waiver request.
  • Editorial decisions are based only on academic quality, scope relevance, originality, ethics, and peer-review results.
  • Waiver approval applies only to the article for which it is granted.

Standard APC

Unless a waiver or fee reduction has been officially approved, the standard KLAUSULA publication fee is IDR 500,000 per accepted article.
