Corrections Policy

KLAUSULA: Jurnal Hukum Tata Negara, Hukum Administrasi, Pidana dan Perdata

KLAUSULA is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. When an error is identified in a published article and the error does not invalidate the article as a whole, the journal may publish a formal correction linked to the original article.

When a Correction May Be Issued

  • minor factual or typographical errors that affect clarity or accuracy;
  • incorrect author names, affiliations, tables, figures, references, or metadata;
  • errors in data presentation that do not invalidate the main findings or conclusions;
  • other correctable errors identified after publication.

Types of Correction

Depending on the nature of the error, the journal may publish an erratum, corrigendum, or other correction notice. The correction notice should clearly identify the affected article and explain what has been corrected.

Correction Procedure

  1. A correction request or report is received by the editorial office.
  2. The editor reviews the reported issue and, where necessary, seeks clarification from the author.
  3. The editorial team determines whether the issue requires a correction and what form the correction should take.
  4. A correction notice is published and linked to the original article.
  5. Where technically possible, the original article is updated with a visible note indicating that a correction has been issued.

Transparency of the Record

Corrections should not obscure the publication history. The original article, correction notice, and any updated version should remain clearly connected so readers can understand the nature and date of the change.
