Digital Preservation Policy

KLAUSULA: Jurnal Hukum Tata Negara, Hukum Administrasi, Pidana dan Perdata

KLAUSULA is committed to preserving the integrity, authenticity, accessibility, and long-term availability of its published scholarly content. Digital preservation is undertaken to reduce the risk of permanent loss and to ensure that published articles remain accessible as part of the scholarly record.

Preservation Scope

Preservation covers published article files, issue files, bibliographic metadata, supplementary materials, and other digital objects that form part of the journal's scholarly publication record.

Integrity of the Scholarly Record

The journal seeks to maintain stable and retrievable versions of published content and associated metadata. Corrections, retractions, or other post-publication changes should remain traceable in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

External Preservation Networks

Where technically available and enabled, KLAUSULA may use recognized digital preservation services such as LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). Participation in any external preservation network should only be stated publicly after it has been technically configured and verified.

LOCKSS

If enabled, LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) may support distributed preservation by maintaining replicated copies of journal content across participating archival nodes.

CLOCKSS

If available to the journal, CLOCKSS may provide an additional preservation mechanism intended to maintain access to scholarly content if the original publishing platform becomes unavailable.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

For journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), PKP PN may be used when the journal meets the applicable technical requirements and the preservation service is activated.

Continuity of Access

In the event of server failure, platform migration, technical disruption, or journal discontinuation, reasonable efforts should be made to restore or preserve access to published content through available preservation copies, archived files, and verified preservation services.

Transparency

KLAUSULA will not claim active participation in LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP PN, or another preservation service unless such participation has been confirmed. Where these services are not active, local preservation and backup procedures remain the primary means of safeguarding the journal's digital scholarly record.
