Article Structure
Diversi Jurnal Hukum uses the general organizational structure (document format) of IMRAD (Introduction, Method, Result, and Discussion) in writing journal manuscripts. The IMRAD format has been adopted by an increasing number of academic journals since the first half of the 20th century. Our goal is to use the IMRAD format so that there is no arbitrary publication format but rather a direct reflection of the process of scientific discovery.
IMRAD's structure has proven successful because it facilitates literature reviews, allowing readers to navigate articles more quickly to find material relevant to their purpose. But IMRAD's neat sequence rarely corresponds to the sequence of events or the actual idea of the research presented; IMRAD's structure effectively supports rearrangements that remove unnecessary detail and allows readers to judge a well-ordered and distraction-free presentation of relevant and significant information. This allows the most relevant information to be presented in a clear and logical manner to the reader, by summarizing the research process in an ideal order and without unnecessary detail.
