Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Proficiency is published twice a year, January and July, by the FKIP UNISKA Kediri, Indonesia. Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Proficiency accepts research-based articles on English language education and linguistics which have not been previously published, nor is it under review or consideration for book chapter or journal publication elsewhere. Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Proficiency should conform the following guidelines:

1. Manuscript and File Type
Manuscript should be written in one spaced at 1 using essay style academic English on A4 paper (with 2,5 cm from all margins) in Microsoft Word program (.doc, .docx, or .rtf), in size 12 of Times New Roman font, and on 4000-7500 words in length excluding title, abstract, keywords, and references.

2. Manuscript format
a. Title, abstract, and keywords
The title of manuscript submitted to Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Proficiency should not exceed of total 12 words followed by an abstract of approximately 100 – 250 words underneath. The author should also provide 3 – 6 keywords underneath the abstract.

b. Subheading
The subheading of the manuscript for JURNAL PENDIDIKAN BAHASA INGGRIS UNISKA is adjusted as follows:
- Level 1 headings are typed in ALL CAPITAL, SIZE 12, BOLD, LEFT MARGIN
- Level 2 headings are typed in Capitals-lowercase, Size 12, Bold, Left Margin
- Level 3 headings are typed in Capitals-lowercase, Size 12, Italic-bold, Left Margin

c. Format
The article should cover: (a) Title; (b) full name(s), affiliation(s), and e-mail of author(s); (c) Abstract, which includes objectives, method, and findings of research; (d) Keywords; (e) Introduction, which includes research objective(s); (f) Method; (g) Results and Discussion; (h) Conclusion; (i) References; and (j) Appendix, if any.

Level 1 headings covers: introduction, method, findings and discussion, conclusion, and references, and therefore, they should be typed in ALL CAPITAL, SIZE 12, BOLD, LEFT MARGIN

3. Citations and references
Manuscript submitted to Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Proficiency should conform to APA style for citations and references. The followings might be the examples of in-text citation:

Researchers have pointed out that the lack of trained staff is a common barrier to providing adequate health education (Fisher, 1999) and services (Weist & Christodulu, 2000).

The close of the millennium was marked by a deep suspicion of the natural world and an increasing reliance “upon the pronouncements of soothsayers and visionaries, who caused hysteria with their doom-laden forecasts of the end of humanity” (Mulligan, 1977, p. 234).

As Murray (2005) suggests, a novice writer should think of making note on ... (p. 16).

References must consist of sources cited in the article only and should be presented alphabetically and chronologically. For example:

Romeo, K. (2008). A web-based listening methodology for studying relative clause acquisition. Computer Assisted Language Learning, 21(1), 51–66.

4. Manuscript submission
Manuscript as well as authors’ brief CV could be sent through our online system.

5. Submitted articles will be peer-reviewed and the editorial board is permitted to edit the articles to keep format consistency without changing the essence.

6. Authors whose manuscripts are accepted or rejected will get a notification from Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Proficiency editorial board. Editorial board has an authority to return the rejected articles without asserting the causes.
