Strategi Manajemen Usaha Sapi Perah Al-Amien untuk Kemandirian Pesantren dan Program MBG

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Economic Division and the management strategies of the dairy cattle farming business unit at Pondok Pesantren Al-Amien Kediri in supporting the economic independence of the pesantren and its contribution to the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). This research employs a qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants include the managers of the Economic Division, dairy farm experts, and production managers of the business unit. The results show that the establishment of the Economic Division serves as an institutional strategy to organize and manage the pesantren's business units in supporting its economic independence. The management strategy of the dairy farming business unit is implemented through management functions consisting of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The business unit also contributes to supporting the Free Nutritious Meal Program by supplying milk products to the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). However, several challenges were identified, including limited productive livestock, dynamic human resources, and a developing marketing system. To address these challenges, the managers implement development strategies such as collaboration with external milk suppliers, regeneration of student workers, and strengthening marketing efforts and partnerships with SPPG.
