Abstract

The research describes the politeness of language in the comments column face book  Ag243  Andika radio Kediri City. Research use descriptive qualitative research. Research subject in the form of nitizen comments data from face book  Ag243  Andika radio Kediri. Data collection techniques in this case use reading aand writing techniques. Data analysis techniques using descriptive data analysis interpretative techniques.  Interpretive techniques describe the results of speech analysis using the principles of form and function of language politeness in the comments column  of nitizens on face book Ag243 Andika Radio. The result of data from research analysis is that there is politeness in language. The politeness is in the from of maxim of wisdom, maxim of compatibility, maxim of sympathy and violation maxim, maxim of generosity or generosity maxim of humality and maxim of praise
