ANALISA PERANCANGAN FILTER PASIF HARMONISA PADA INSTALASI SISTEM TENAGA LISTRIK MOTOR INDUKSI BERBASIS MATLAB SIMULINK

Abstract

This study discusses harmonics in a 3-phase network in a husk mill using a 3-phase motor and the use of an inverter in the control. One of the causes of a decrease in power quality is harmonics, which is caused by the formation of waves with different frequencies at one load. In the mill, one of the loads is a motor and inverter which can cause harmonics. In this study, the analysis was carried out by comparing the THD before using the filter and before using the filter using simulation. Where the proportion of THD harmonics allowed according to the IEEE standard is a maximum of five percent. To determine the THD proportion of the voltage and current harmonics in the installation of a power system, a simulation was designed using Matlab Simulink. From the test results without a filter, the results of the phase voltage THD R = 137.12%, S = 137.58%, T = 137.51% and THD phase current R = 25.01 %, S = 24.90%, T = 25.01%, while when using the filter the results obtained are THD phase voltage R = 0.0006 %, S = 0.0006%, T = 0.0006% and THD phase current R = 0.01%, S = 0, 01%, T = 0.01%).
