PERENCANAAN DAN PEMBUATAN PROTEKSI MOTOR INDUKSI PADA STAR DELTA BESBASIS MIKROKONTROLER

Abstract

From the previous case on the star delta panel, there has been a protection failure, where the protection on the star delta panel is due to a phase failure which causes the thermal over curen relay (TOR) to experience an increase in temperature so that the electric motor burns out. The causes of phase failure are due to: 1. The main contact points on the contactor are not connected properly; 2. The wiring connection of the star delta circuit is not perfect, resulting in flare; 3. Damage to the NFB or contactor resulting in one phase not connecting; 4. Due to phase failure in the installation or supply system from the PLN. This can interfere with the induction motor working process. From the failure of one-phase loss protection, additional safety is needed to prevent damage to the microcontroller-based induction motor using the Arduino Mega as the brain of the induction motor protection and the PZEM-004T sensor as a phase loss detector on the induction motor input line. Therefore, I took the theme of planning and manufacturing induction motor protection on a micro-controller-based star delta.
