Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya dengan mengaplikasikan Photovoltaic (PV) sebagai sarana konversi energi merupakan salah satu bentuk dari energi terbarukan. Agar didapatkan daya yang maksimal dibutuhkan konverter DC-DC dengan algoritma maximum power point tracker (MPPT), sehingga sistem perlu diintegrasikan menjadi satu. Integrasi tersebut dikenal dengan istilah konversi dua tahap. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah konverter 5-tingkat satu fasa lazim diaplikasikan dengan memakai konverter daya empat lengan, dimana pada masing-masing lengannya ada dua buah saklar daya. Hal tersebut akan menyebabkan sistem pensaklaran yang tinggi, tapis dan stress tegangan yang besar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai inverter yang memanfaatkan 5-level inverter. Inverter 5-tingkat yang diteliti memanfaatkan metode sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) sebagai pengendali inverter. Sistem kendali dan pensaklaran dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroler jenis STM32F407. Verifikasi memakai software PSIM dan implementasi perangkat keras. Dari hasil pengujian dengan metode yang telah dilaksanakan mampu memperoleh arus dan tegangan keluaran inverter 5-tingkat dengan nilai THD arus 4,38%.
