Abstract
The Community Service Program (PKM) in Klabulu Village, Malaimsimsa District, Sorong City, was carried out by lecturers and third-semester students from the Faculty of Economics, Muhammadiyah University of Sorong, aiming to enhance the local community’s economy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The participants were primarily women motivated to become micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs. The main issues faced by the community included limited knowledge of processing thorn spinach (bayam duri) into higher-value products and a lack of understanding of effective marketing strategies. The activities included introducing entrepreneurship concepts and providing business motivation, training participants to process thorn spinach into high-value spinach chips, and conducting practical sessions on production and marketing through the application of marketing mix strategies. Additionally, participants learned product packaging and labeling techniques. The program concluded with a discussion session that allowed participants to clarify concepts and deepen their understanding of the training materials.
