Abstract

Animal food origin consists of milk, meat, eggs and various processed products. Animal food origin is really needed by humans because it is the main source of animal protein. Animal protein, as is generally known, is a very important substance for the human body, which is useful for the growth and development of body cells. Animal food origin has weaknesses, namely that it is easily damaged due to biological, chemical and physical hazards during the production process. Biological hazards are examples of bacterial contamination. Chemical hazards, for example include antibiotic residue or the use of formalin and borax. Physical dangers, for example include hair debris or broken glass. In principle, animal food origin has special criteria, namely ASUH (safe, healthy, whole, and halal). Through this community service activity, it is hoped that the community will understand, and then be able to play an active role in seeking the safety of animal food origin starting from the household level, so that they can continue to consume ASUH animal food origin.
