SOSIALISASI KANDUNGAN ZAT BERBAHAYA DALAM BAHAN TAMBAHAN PANGAN (BTP) DI LINGKUNGAN POSYANDU ANAK DAN KELAS IBU HAMIL DESA BINANGUN
Abstract
Food additives are needed to change the nature and form of food, this can have positive or negative effects. Some types of BTP are made from natural ingredients, but on the market there are more synthetic BTPs circulating which can be detrimental to health. This health effect is not widely known by the public, especially mothers who are tasked with providing food for the family. Socialization about the content of dangerous substances in BTP is needed so that mothers can choose the right food that is healthy and of good quality. Socialization was carried out in Binangun Village, specifically at the children's Posyandu and pregnant women's class, using counseling, discussion and question and answer methods. The conclusion from the results of this outreach is that there has been an increase in understanding about the dosage, benefits and dangers resulting from incorrect use of BTP. People are also becoming more observant in distinguishing between natural and synthetic food additives. The hope for the future is that it can help improve the quality of life of Indonesian people.
