ANALYSIS OF COCONUT RED SUGAR CRAFTSMAN'S FARMING IN DAYU VILLAGE, NGLEGOK DISTRICT, BLITAR DISTRICT

Abstract

The geographical condition of Dayu Village, Nglegok District, is in the form of a yard and lots of coconut trees. Most of the residents in Dayu Village, apart from working as farmers in rice fields, the majority of the residents' large areas of land in the form of yards are planted with coconut trees which are harvested from their sap and the residents there also work as coconut climbers as a daily job which is usually called (deres in Javanese), besides working as coconut climbers or deresers, they also produce their own coconut brown sugar as a daily job and to fulfill their daily living needs. The aim of this research is to find out how much profit the coconut brown sugar farming business has in the two hamlets in the Dayu sub-district, Nglegok sub-district, Blitar Regency and to calculate the efficiency of the coconut brown sugar farming business in terms of production costs, revenues and income in the two farming areas, namely in Dayu hamlet and Sanan Dayu hamlet. in Dayu sub-district, Nglegok sub-district, Blitar regency

The result of this research is that the profit from pattern I, namely Sanandayu Hamlet, is IDR 77,368,000, while for pattern 2, namely Dayu Hamlet, it is IDR 113,386,000. For the R/C Ratio of the two different patterns, pattern I R/C Ratio produces 2. Thus pattern II results were 1.98 so usatani was worth developing
