Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

The peer review process in Jurnal Cendekia Akuntansi (JCA)  is a quality control mechanism. It is a process to evaluate paper, and its objective is to ensure a quality of published science.

The JCA accepts manuscripts resulting from research and scientific studies in accounting and finance that have not been previously published and are not currently under consideration by other journals. The entire manuscript management process is conducted online through the Open Journal System (OJS).

All submitted manuscripts must adhere to the Aims and Scope and Author Guidelines using the Jurnal Cendekia Akuntansi Journal Template. Submitted manuscripts must address scientific achievements or novelties consistent with the focus and scope of the journal. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism (Plagiarism Policy). The review process will utilize a Double-Blind Peer Review system.

Research articles submitted to Jurnal Cendekia Akuntansi will be processed for a minimum of 8 (eight) weeks. The estimated time for the entire process from manuscript submission to publication is approximately ± 60 days, depending on the completeness of the manuscript and the speed of the author in making revisions.

Articles will be reviewed by at least two (2) or more experts. The reviewers provide valuable scientific comments to improve the manuscript's content.

The final decision on article acceptance will be made by the Editor in accordance with the reviewers' comments. The publication of accepted articles, including the order in which they are published, will be made by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account the date sequence of the articles received.

Once the manuscript is accepted based on the results of the review and revisions, the author will receive an official notification (Letter of Acceptance/LoA). At this stage, the author is required to pay the Article Processing Charge (APC) in accordance with applicable regulations. Payment is only made after the manuscript is accepted, as a commitment to the principles of transparency and integrity in the scientific publication process.

Once payment is confirmed, the manuscript will enter the final acceptance stage, followed by copyediting and layout to ensure the quality of the article's language, formatting, and presentation. Authors are also required to upload the results of a plagiarism check at this stage.
